The solution for challenging installation situations: Master-PROTECT pipe bends and pipes with PU lining offer innovative, durable and reliable wear protection.
The special feature of Master-PROTECT pipe bends and pipes is the combination of material use and shaping.
A production plant stands and falls with the availability and reliability of its pneumatic conveying system. However, production downtimes are often caused by parts that are particularly susceptible to wear, such as pipe bends or pipes. Unplanned production downtimes increase operating costs many times over. High repair and maintenance costs and declining productivity are the result.
We offer a proven total solution: pipe bends and pipes with PU lining.
The material polyurethane, or PU for short, is much more wear-resistant than most of the materials previously used in this field. With the combination of PU lining and the patented geometric arrangement of the plastic, excellent results are achieved in terms of service life.
The use of extremely resistant polyurethane and an internal geometry adapted to the standard elbow counteracts the impact wear that occurs especially in elbows.
The conveyed material hits the PU impact surface in such a way that no material can be damaged (see illustrations). As with a trampoline, the bulk material is cushioned and conveyed diagonally through the pipe bend. The conveying speed is hardly slowed down at all.
The inner geometry of the elbow leads to a detachment of the solids strand from the wall, especially in the wear-critical flight conveying. This results in a uniform distribution of concentration across the cross section. In the wake, a uniform velocity profile is established even over a very short distance. The downstream pipe is subjected to considerably less stress.
Master-PROTECT elbows can be used in existing installations without the need for design changes.
Problem-free replacement of:
We supply standard connection dimensions with fixed flanges (PN6, PN10/16) and standardized inside diameters (DN 50 - DN 200) according to DIN 2448, which allow edge-free transitions of the PU lining to pipelines.
