Consistent processes, high quality: audits are an integral part of our quality management, which means you can count on consistent processes and high quality from us.
This applies to both our products and our processes.
Masterflex's quality management system is synonymous with the continuous improvement of processes, products and/or services. It aims to satisfy customer requirements as well as the normative and legal requirements for products and/or services.
Whether we're talking about pipes by the meter, assembled and tested pipes or pipe systems, the interaction of quality components in compliance with standards and regulations forms the basis of our products and services.
To the principles of our quality policy
Here you will find our declarations of conformity, by which we, as the manufacturer, officially confirm that we comply with the directives and safety standards in force in the European Union during production.
All products distributed by Masterflex comply with the current catalog and the specifications and properties contained therein. Control and compliance with these specifications and properties are guaranteed by our quality assurance in accordance with DIN EN ISO 9001:2015. Products are tested for the following properties: Wire thickness, wire position in the pipe profile, wall thickness, pitch, inner and outer diameters, length, weight, material properties, surface resistance, bending radii, abrasion resistance, chemical and mechanical resistance, pressure resistance, vacuum resistance.
Olve Vangdal (right in photo), Lead Auditor at DNV, Norway, personally ensured the high quality of FishTec pipe.
As part of the certification process, Master-PUR H FishTec was subjected to a destruction scenario under real-life conditions, demonstrating excellent material properties and high resistance to stress cracking. The hose offers numerous advantages over traditional hoses, and increases productivity in fish farming and aquaculture.
The robust, high-grade polyurethane hose has a smooth inner surface that allows optimum flow speed during conveying processes and prevents the formation of deposits. The new hose solution is resistant to UV rays, ozone and many chemicals - and meets the stringent Norwegian standard NS 9416:2013.
Our polyurethane (PUR) spiral-wound pipes meet all the requirements of national standard DIN 26057. But that's not all: we played a key role in the development of DIN 26057, and adapted to the new requirements at an early stage. As a result, we were one of the first companies on the market to guarantee the new DIN 26057 standard for our polyurethane spiral-wound pipes.
DIN 26057 defines the requirements for coiled pipes made of thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU), which are reinforced with steel wires and have a corrugated outer contour. These hoses are used to convey granulates as well as powdery substances, dusts and bulk goods. The new standard precisely describes and regulates the conditions and procedures for hose testing.
Internal tests carried out by our quality department have fully confirmed the standard for our spiral hoses. Series L-F, L, H, HX hose types (also in electrically conductive, antistatic, flame-retardant and MHR variants) are available in accordance with the new DIN standard. Pipes for the food, pharmaceutical and medical sectors are excluded from the standard.
Operational excellence is an increasingly important standard. It's about optimizing and standardizing operational processes to maximize efficiency, productivity and quality. In this interview, Robin Huth, Plant Manager at the Gelsenkirchen site, explains the importance of operational excellence for the company. He shows us why it's important for us to achieve operational excellence, how we can achieve it, and what benefits our customers can derive from it.
Quality management is an essential part of any successful company. It's all about improving the quality of products and services, and ensuring that they meet the high expectations customers have of our products. In this interview, we have the pleasure of talking to Pascal Ruda, Quality Manager at Gelsenkirchen, and learning more about the importance of quality management for our company.
To better understand our different customer segments, we regularly conduct customer surveys. The results show that there is no such thing as a typical Masterflex customer. There are business partners, OEMs and end customers with different needs. Some prefer to talk to our sales staff in person, others are mainly online and use our webshop.
The survey results show that we're on the right track. Despite different needs, everyone finds suitable access to our products and solutions.
Praise for the advisory skills of our sales staff clearly shows what sets Masterflex apart in direct customer contact. Many customers regard our sales staff as reliable partners, able to select the right connection solutions.
It's important to consider different customer groups in detail. We are determined to continue along this path, so that we can continue to be a valuable partner for our customers in terms of innovation, service, pricing, product portfolio and order processing.
We develop demanding, tailor-made products that offer great benefits to our customers. That's why our experienced sales team has a strong presence, close to the market and directly at you, our customers. We have a worldwide presence. As a strong development partner, we listen to the market and develop solutions tailored to your needs. At all our international locations, we offer German engineering produced directly on site. This guarantees high quality, short distances, fast reaction times and direct customer contact.
Advice-oriented, personal, fast and competent - that's what makes the difference!
